Carmelina M. Forzisi is an associate at MWWD. Her practice focuses on advising and assisting insurance companies with respect to coverage issues involving all aspects of general claims handling and resolution, including the investigation and analysis of claims, defense and indemnity obligations, priority of coverage, and extra-contractual exposures for complex environmental, construction, personal and advertising, automobile, products liability, and abuse and/or bodily injury, as well as other matters.  Ms. Forzisi has successfully mediated numerous inter-carrier and policy-holder disputes.

Ms. Forzisi, a native San Diegan, received her B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, triple majoring in Criminology, Law and Society; Psychology and Social Behavior; and Social Ecology, with a Minor in Educational Studies.  She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.  In law school, Ms. Forzisi was a member of the University of Miami Race and Social Justice Law Review.

 

When she is not assisting her clients, Ms. Forzisi enjoys spending time with her family and friends, brunching, traveling, attending reggae concerts and festivals, working out, practicing yoga, spending time at the beach, and roller skating by the San Diego Bay.
